VW Load Cell sets the standard for precision in direct load measurement, tailored for piles, rock bolts, and cable anchors. VW Load Cell features a series of up to 6 vibrating wire gauges, arranged parallel to the cell axis and evenly spaced radially within a cylindrical housing. VW Load Cell can be integrated into monitoring system by directly wiring it to a data logger or connecting it via a sheathed cable to a readout unit through a switched terminal unit. Additionally, load cells are designed with a hole in the center to accommodate rockbolts, tendons, or anchor cables. Alternatively, it can be supplied with top and bottom load plates to function as a solid load cell.
