Sanlien_AFAC26 BANNER

As one of the leading events for public safety and emergency management, AFAC26 brings together professionals dedicated to strengthening disaster resilience. This year, Sanlien Technology will showcase its Rapid Structural Health Diagnostics solution, designed to help emergency responders, infrastructure owners, and structural engineers rapidly assess the structural safety of buildings after an earthquake.

Within one minute of a seismic event, the system automatically evaluates structural conditions and identifies potential damage, enabling emergency teams to prioritize inspections, reduce uncertainty, and accelerate emergency response and recovery efforts.

At the heart of the solution is HAZUS, an advanced structural damage assessment platform that combines real-time vibration monitoring with intelligent damage analysis. By analyzing seismic data from on-site sensors, HAZUS rapidly calculates the Inter-Story Drift Ratio (IDR) and delivers an immediate assessment of a building’s structural condition following an earthquake. This enables structural engineers to prioritize inspections, evaluate structural safety, and confidently determine the appropriate response before entering affected buildings or deploying inspection teams.

Key Capabilities :
• Rapid Damage Assessment – Evaluate structural conditions within one minute after an earthquake.
• Real-Time Structural Health Monitoring – Continuously monitor structural performance using tri-axial MEMS accelerometers.
• Intelligent Damage Analysis –Calculate the Inter-Story Drift Ratio (IDR) to rapidly evaluate structural damage and support post-earthquake safety assessments.
• Automated Alerts & Visualization – Receive real-time alerts and intuitive visual displays to support faster emergency response.

As part of Sanlien’s comprehensive earthquake resilience portfolio, Rapid Structural Health Diagnostics works seamlessly alongside our Earthquake Early Warning System (EEWS). Together, these solutions provide end-to-end earthquake resilience—from advance warning before strong shaking arrives to rapid post-event structural assessment. Built around three pALERT S303 Tri-axial MEMS Accelerographs and a CUBE Smart Interface, the integrated solution delivers real-time seismic monitoring, intelligent event processing, and actionable insights that enable emergency managers and structural engineers to respond faster, reduce risk, and act with confidence when every second counts.
